Ok - so you want to feel the rush !
All my work is based on being on or by the water, looking, sketching, shooting video, which is then worked up in the studio into finished drawings. I work in graphite on rough heavy watercolour paper. My intention is to get you the viewer the feeling of " being there " by looking at the work. Any paddler should be able to feel the excitement, the movement - even taste the river - or just think " yeah I remember doing one of those moves ". Feeling the water through the boat helps me to get the atmosphere into my work. ( General guide to sizes of works - prints A4, graphite drawings A3 and A1, ) Photo page 2 for the colour prints.
